Clean You Dryer Vent

People are always telling you to have your dryer vent professionally cleaned, especially if it goes to the roof, and I’m going to show you an example as to why.

What you’re looking at is the lent build up in the part that comes out of the attic and out through the roof of your house. This was sent to me by the technician at a house to show me what’s going on. But let me show you what’s going on.

The hose that connects to that. Look at that and it gets worse. And you think pulling out all the lint from that little screen that catches it in your dryer does the trick? No. Stuff loads up in there and it gets caught and the heat from the dryer can catch that lint on fire and set your house on fire.

This happens so many times. You might be keeping this stuff clean, but if you buy a home, you don’t know what the previous owner did, so you might want to call someone and have it professionally cleaned, people.
