How will you Access the Ranch you want to Purchase?

Tips for you who are looking to purchase
your first rural property or your first farm and ranch.

What kind of vehicle do you drive?
And how much do you care about the care of that vehicle?
Do you plan for you, your spouse, your children, your family, anybody to drive five miles out on a gravel road to get to the particular property
that you’re looking for?
How do you get to that property from where you live?
Is the area which that you have to travel down known to flood?
Is there another way to get into that property on another county road?

There are many times that I have conversations with people and they tell me that they want their family to have a place to go. But I always ask them, this property that you’re asking about,
you’re gonna travel about 10 to 15 minutes on a gravel road, are you okay with that?

Is your spouse okay with that?
Are you okay with your kids driving their vehicles on those roads?

And sometimes they’ll go, man, I don’t even wanna be driving down a gravel road. I never even thought about that.

So those are things you need to make sure that you consider when purchasing a farm and ranch property in a rural area for the first time. That’s why it’s very important.

Make sure that you have an agent represent you who is knowledgeable in the area of which you are wanting to purchase a property.
